I see this question a lot on reviews and forums as well. What size tire can I fit on the 2023 Trek Emonda? I have had 2 newer Trek Emondas a 2022 and a 2023 and they have both been able to fit 32c tires comfortably. Here is the 2023 Trek Emonda Max Tire Size.

As you can tell a 32c tire fits fine on this bike, There is a possibility you could do a 30c with some tread on them.
Below is the new 2023 Trek Emonda which easily fits 32c tires as well. This bike is built up with the new Shimano Ultegra Di2.
Could you use the new Trek Emondas for gravel bikes? I think you could use them for very light gravel if you were able to fit a 30c with some tread on it. However, I don’t believe the Emonda is going to be as forgiving as the Trek Checkpoint. The Checkpoint’s ride so smooth and soak up the bumps with the isospeed. Also I have stated this before but Trek says a max of 28c will fit on the Emonda’s and I think this is a real shame they don’t at least state a 30c for max tire size.
